Ÿ  Using the RUP Methodology Managed Project to redesign the ProxyEdge Application and Database Structure for the conversion of the Application from a 16bit (VB) to 32bit (PB) version. Managed RFP and Vendor selection process, and worked hands on with PowerBuilder consultants in the creation of the Functional/Technical Specifications using HOW (UML), creation of the Use Cases, Business Rules, Database tables and relationships, stored procedures and triggers. Worked hands on in the creation of all new stored procedures and triggers. Managed meetings for User Review/Acceptance of documentation and screen prototypes. Project had a budget of $1,000,000 and when completed helped increase the number of external users from 170 to over 300.

  • Designed and managed the creation of (Functional/Technical Specifications) for new website www.pelite.com (Java/Oracle/Websphere) to be used by Money Managers to electronically vote proxies for the accounts they manage. Managed programming group in India for this project. These managers can interactively view the status of their vote from the time it was cast through its confirmation of having been processed.   • Directed the move of the Global Proxy Application Programming and Hardware from Waltham, MA to Edgewood, NY. Integrated Telekurs information in Global Proxy into ProxyEdge application for use of voting Global Proxies at one source.  Reduced costs 20% by replacing consultants with fulltime associates.
