Senior Software QA Engineer                                                                         GE Inspection Technologies, Lewistown, PA; 10/2011 to 06/2013

  • Test embedded software and hardware on GE's Eddy Current and Ultra Sound inspection equipment that allows non destructive testing with the help of modern technologies such as radiography, computed tomography, remote visual inspection, hardness testing and metrology. Application are written in C++, ported into Noika / Digia's Qt library to facilitate cross platform compatibility with multiple OS platforms and devices talking to a cloud based system using SOAP/REST web services.

 

  • Track Agile/Scrum progress in Rally, log bugs/defects in HP Quality Center 10, Automate the QA process with HP's Load Runner and Performance Center 11 framework to manage and store test scripts and utilize Microsoft TFS for version control and take part in ongoing future implementation of automated test tools.
