(Omgeo LLC., is a Thomson Reuters & DTTC Subsidiary)  

Project & Applications: ALERT & CTM Applications Redesign - Currently working on the redesign of the ALERT application for Omgeo.,LLC. Omgeo ALERT facilitates the communication of Account details and Settlement Instructions in support of "Post Trade" settlement. It involves all client segments in settlements i.e. an Investment Manager, Broker/Dealer and Global Custodians. The communication is facilitated through creation  and maintenance of Accounts and Settlement Instructions in ALERT's centralized database.  The CTM (Central Trade Manager) is a platform for the central matching of cross-border and domestic equity, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives and contract for difference transactions. It helps improve SDA, quick return on investment, increase productivity and reduce failure, end-end automation, & simplified exception processing.

Key Contributions:

  • My contributions to this project for the redesign of ALERT/CTM app as an SME (due to the wide experience in financial sector) has been, being a SPOC at the client location and involves, interactions with Business stakeholders, requirement gathering, conducting Heuristic analysis of the existing application, Competitive/ Best Practices within the industry and documenting the same. Conducting reviews with Product, Business and Dev. Based on the analysis, working on the Taxonomy and Information Architecture like creating the Sitemap for the NEW ALERT/CTM app, User Task Flows diagrams. Coming up with scenario's as per the user Profiles. Documenting all of them into the Design document and getting the client feedback.

Treasury Services- Worked onClient Access (Access next Generation) Application installed on client site for various clients globally by JPMC for processing and managing Payments, Transaction and Balances of their company via Client ACCESS for ACH, Wire, Book & Account Transfers. Projects & Applications: at Legg Mason was instrumental in handling the entire development of a new (UUI) Unified User Interface for their Desktop Applications, and also developing a new system for their AUM process.
